About El Bohio
Husband and wife team, Alex and Vanessa Harris, opened El Bohio and the adjacent music club, The Pour House, in 2005. El Bohio has dedicated itself as Charleston’s favorite Cuban restaurant and prides itself in providing traditional Cuban dishes with a flair of the new. The Pour House and El Bohio recycle all glass, plastic, paper and metal. All food waste goes to local pig farmers. The two venues divert over 5 tons of recyclables and compost a week!
El Bohio is open seven days a week – for lunch and dinner on Monday through Thursday, 12 p.m. to 10 p.m., and Friday and Saturday, 12 p.m. to 11 p.m.; brunch is currently served on Sundays only from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. The kitchen will serve dinner on Sundays until 10 p.m.
